Features

Page level testing. Your server side code's potential problems can be effectively tested by simulating 1000s* of simultaneous user's accessing key resources. Support for GET and POST requests on regular URLs. Supports SOAP requests by allowing you to embed arbitrary XML data. Powerful and flexible dynamic substitutions allows you to vary the test data sent with each request. As one example, XML test data can be read from a file to be included as part of a request. The actual file used for any given request can be picked from a suite of test files. Also, elements within the XML data can be varied dynamically. A simple, open customization API lets you plant your own custom code right into the core of the JBlitz query engine. Custom modules are easy to write and there are samples to copy from. Allows easy manipulation of request parameters. Highlights name values and provides options for URL encoding. XML based test configuration files define your entire test environment. Set up multiple test configurations and switch between them for your different day to day testing needs. Graphing, real-time statistics and virtual user activity gives you detailed analysis of web page downloads and helps you monitor your website's performance as you make changes to it. Configurable HTTP request headers. You can modify the headers used by JBlitz for GET and POST requests. Four levels of logging including logging of the HTTP request, response logging, error recording, and logging of general virtual user activity. Errors detection via HTTP error replies, error pages or custom errors raised by your custom code pinpoint potential problem areas. Once an error has been detected, you can configure JBlitz to take various actions from doing nothing to stopping all virtual users immediately. Additional console based mode for non GUI systems, or for when visual feedback is unimportant. Java^TM powered for cross-platform deployment. Simple, compact and easy to use.

* In contrast to other products, there is no 'per virtual user' charge. You are free to configure up to 250,000 per installation. The ability to run large numbers of virtual users will depend highly on the configuration of your test machines, their operating systems, memory and CPU speed amongst other things.
