| Chapter 2 - Navigating the user interface
JBlitz is designed to be easy to use.
Help panels are added throughout to give guidance. Keyboard assignments
have wherever possible been included to facilitate 'power' users. Tool-tips
are helpful and informative. Each website and web page entered is
remembered across runs. In fact, all settings from the previous run are
re-applied the next time you start JBlitz.

Using the keyboard
JBlitz has standard keyboard mappings for navigating the user interface without a mouse.
Wherever possible, shortcut keys have been added and dialogs respond to
the enter (accept), escape (cancel) and Shift F1 (toggle help panels) key.

Using combo-boxes
JBlitz combo-boxes are also user-friendly. They retain the contents
typed in to them. This is helpful, for example, when making web page selections -
each page you type in is remembered by the combo and then becomes one of the
page target selections to choose from. Items already added in this way can be
removed by selecting them and pressing Ctrl+Del.

Using the help panels
JBlitz gives additional start-up aid to novice users by showing a
series of help panels on each important screen. The help panels, in
blue or yellow, give useful information about the function they are related to and
should give even the most inexperienced users a quick start. When used in
combination with the tool-tips provided, they make using JBlitz simple and
intuitive.
The help panels can be hidden at any time by selecting Help->Hide Help Panels from the main menu or
by clicking with the right mouse button on any given help panel and selecting 'Hide'.
This leaves the tool less 'cluttered' for more experienced users.
